Publishing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Publishing Specialist to join our team at West Academic Publishing. As a key member of our content production team, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality law school textbooks and study aids for distribution in print and digital formats.

• Collaborate with authors, editors, and team members to process raw manuscripts into production-ready content.
• Prioritize workload to meet scheduled deadlines and manage project tasks with minimal supervision.
• Utilize checklists and process documentation to ensure consistency and quality in content production.
• Contribute to process improvements and adapt existing procedures to overcome challenges.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert-level Word experience required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including composition, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical aptitude for computer applications and systems, including Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with the U.S. legal system and legal educational publications.
