Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing complex respiratory care procedures to critically ill patients and serving as a mentor and resource for staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Act as a mentor and resource for staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
- AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
- At least two years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- RRT credential required.
- Meets and maintains requirements of Policy 211-NAM Professional Advancement Ladder – Respiratory Care.
