We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join our team at the University of Florida. As a member of our academic faculty, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clinicians, researchers, and educators to provide exceptional patient care and advance the field of developmental and behavioral pediatrics.

About the Opportunity

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is committed to providing world-class patient care, leading-edge research, and patient advocacy. Our Division of General Pediatrics has created a novel Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, which includes a team of experienced clinicians, researchers, and educators. As a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician, you will be part of this dynamic team and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new research initiatives and funding opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership of the Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
  • Prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Provide direct clinical care of patients referred to UF for evaluation and treatment by a D-B pediatrician
  • Provide supervision of and direct instruction to PL1, PL2, and PL3 pediatric residents
  • Pursue new research initiatives and funding opportunities either independently or in collaboration with any faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics or in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology or the UF Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment in the Department of Psychiatry
  • Collaborate with the Division Chief in the annual evaluation of members of the Section
