Central Hudson Field Collector

Central Hudson Field Collector is a full-time entry-level position that involves conducting meter readings of gas and electric meters throughout the Central Hudson NYS territory.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $39,360.00 based on an hourly rate of $19.00.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely and accurately reading electric and gas consumption meters, inspecting meters and connections for defects, damage, or unauthorized connections, and having polite and professional interactions with the public and clients.

• Previous experience working outside is required.
• You must be able to walk between 1 to 5 miles each day.
• Enjoy working outdoors in various types of weather and terrain such as wooded, urban, and rural areas.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record are necessary.
• You should be able to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, twist, and make repetitive hand movements.
