MOT Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Supervisor to join our team at Cornerstone Barricades, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of highway maintenance and construction projects.

• Safety Management: Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain a variety of heavy-duty trucks and equipment used for highway maintenance.
• Leadership: Supervise and train a team of laborers to complete projects and achieve objectives.
• Traffic Control: Plan and implement traffic control measures to ensure safe and efficient work zones.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications: Current valid FDOT MOT/ TTC Advanced Certification and State of Florida Advanced Training for Worksite Traffic Supervisor certification required.
• Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience as an MOT Foreman/Crew Leader in highway construction planning, organizing, and supervising equipment and materials.
• Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in operating heavy-duty equipment.
