Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our Labor and Delivery department, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a compassionate and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs, and respond to care rendered.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel, and maintain standards of professional nursing.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental and patient care quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
  • Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
