About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate.
Requirements
- General Ultrasound experience preferred; Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers; Vocational School Graduate.
- RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
