Position Overview

The Janitor/Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our luxury residential properties. This position requires a dedicated individual who will report directly to the Resident Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms through thorough cleaning practices such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as needed to support the overall upkeep of the property.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Assist in the general maintenance of the buildings and surrounding grounds, including snow removal and landscaping efforts.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies in optimal condition.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned by management.
Work Schedule
  • Friday - Wednesday: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Days Off: Wednesday and Thursday
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $20.57
  • Benefits through Local 1
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in janitorial, cleaning, or porter roles.
  • Reliability and familiarity with cleaning chemicals are essential.
  • A collaborative team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time management skills and a solid work ethic are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks is advantageous.
*On-call availability may be required.
