Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder and Welding Supervisor to join our team at Electro-Space Fabricators, Inc. in our Heliarc Department. As a TIG Welder Specialist, you will be responsible for welding high-tech, custom-built enclosures, panels, and related equipment using light-gauge Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless Steel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding tasks in a production environment, ensuring high-quality results and meeting production deadlines.
  • Supervise and oversee department needs and requirements, ensuring efficient workflow and quality control.
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in TIG welding light-gauge Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless Steel in thicknesses ranging from 0.050 to 0.125 on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to successfully complete a TIG welding test on premises during the interview process.
  • Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Dedicated work ethic and ability to learn and follow instructions.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and quality focus.
