Role Overview:

The Product Engineer II at Cytiva is tasked with the ongoing support and lifecycle management of our Hardware product portfolio. This role encompasses electrical product design, verification and validation processes, and risk assessment of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engineering modifications to enhance product lifecycle, including technical assessments and documentation.
  • Develop comprehensive validation protocols, conduct on-site verification tests, and compile validation summary reports.
  • Lead investigations to address customer feedback and product quality concerns.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to support global projects while leading local initiatives, ensuring effective coordination among Product Engineering, R&D, Operations, and Quality teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts for products and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical design and development.
  • Proficient in conducting verification and validation testing.
  • Familiarity with CE and UL regulatory standards.
  • Experience in sustaining engineering for both newly launched and legacy products.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in component selection based on specified requirements.
  • Ability to support customer inquiries and perform root cause analysis.
