We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Manager to join our team at Communication Technology Services (CTS). As a Field Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and other wireless network infrastructure in the South Florida region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the logistics of materials, including ordering and inventory control.
  • Drive and track project schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget targets.
  • Assist with change orders and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement DAS systems commissioning and optimization practices.
  • Conduct site surveys and data collection, and produce bid documents for small to medium-sized projects.
  • Assist with closeout document data collection and package completion.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while on-site.
  • Ensure adherence to all site and CTS safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports and updates, and approve time cards.
  • Lead install teams in stringing coax and fiber cable, including cable termination.
  • Perform PIM and sweep testing of coax and fiber.
  • Develop proficiency in fusion splicing and fiber optic testing practices.
  • Operate and understand all functions of test equipment, including RF, cable, and fiber test gear.
  • Troubleshoot systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on major carrier frequency bands, protocols, and terminology.
  • Learn to read iBwave Design documentation (blueprints) and understand installation components.
  • Familiarize yourself with CTS products and services.
  • Develop a working knowledge of building codes to ensure fully compliant installations.
  • Develop computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Projects, and Google Mail.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Physical ability to carry tools, materials, and ladders; climb ladders; lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Working Conditions:

Regional travel may be required.
