Job Summary:

Hilo Medical Center is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients, adhering to radiologist protocols and ensuring accurate image capture.
  • Operate CT scanners, including Canon/Toshiba units, and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve patient flow and efficiency in the CT department.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and scan results.

Requirements:

  • State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an acute hospital setting, with a focus on CT scanning.
  • Experience with Meditech EMR and Vitrea workstation preferred.
