Job Description:
Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department RN to join our team in Manchester, Connecticut. As an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who can work effectively in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. Your ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients simultaneously, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating patient history, conducting physical assessments, and identifying urgent health issues
  • Collecting patient vital signs and other relevant data to determine immediate care needs
  • Administering medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed, including intravenous (IV) fluids, antibiotics, pain management, and other emergency medications
  • Providing emergency life-saving interventions, including CPR, advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and trauma care
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other team members to develop and implement patient care plans

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a current nursing license, at least 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting, and strong critical thinking skills. You should also be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and concisely, and maintain accurate records. Our ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and stay calm under pressure.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. A tax-free stipend amount will be determined.
