Automotive Collision Estimator

The Collision Center at Clay Cooley Nissan in Lewisville is on the lookout for a proficient and experienced Collision Estimator to become part of our vibrant and expanding team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure an outstanding customer experience while preparing estimates and coordinating repair processes for our clientele. The ideal candidate must possess meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers and conduct thorough inquiries, assessing damaged vehicles to ascertain the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior impairments. The Collision Estimator will provide reliable information to guide customers through the repair journey while delivering exceptional service.
  • Perform evaluations to assess damage and review work/repair orders to identify necessary components and materials. The Collision Estimator will estimate labor and painting costs to calculate the total repair expenses.
  • Inspect vehicle damage and document requirements for repairs and parts replacement based on the damage assessment. The Collision Estimator will evaluate the quality of restoration work alongside Technicians and, if needed, return vehicles for additional work to meet quality standards.
  • Communicate with insurance providers regarding estimated repair costs and ensure payment processing.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of the onboarding process shortly after application
  • Advanced understanding of vehicle mechanical procedures
  • Flexibility in hours and travel arrangements for transporting to various locations
  • Prior experience with CCC1, CDK, service, and estimating is essential. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
