Physician Assistant

The Trauma/Acute Care Surgery and Orthopedic Physician Assistant is a key member of the interdisciplinary team at Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center. This role is responsible for providing high-quality care to trauma and acute care surgery patients, ensuring they receive optimal treatment throughout their hospitalization.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute setting, working with trauma, orthopedic, and ICU patients. They will possess surgical and trauma training, with the ability to perform first assists and H&P assessments. Current PA licenses, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required. Auditing ATLS skills are desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team and contribute to the development of standardized procedures and protocols. The successful candidate will report directly to the Trauma Program Director and work closely with the Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, and ancillary personnel to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to trauma and acute care surgery patients

- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

$62.24 - $90.24 /hour
