Job SummaryWe are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic treatment team in Iowa City (Coralville), IA. As an LPN at Milan Laser, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their aesthetic goals while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform laser hair removal treatments within established protocols and procedures
- Educate patients on the laser hair removal process and provide pre- and post-treatment care recommendations
- Work autonomously with clients to achieve their medical or aesthetic hair-free goals
- Collaborate with the clinic team to achieve company goals
- Provide a friendly and comfortable environment by delivering world-class patient care
- Record clear and accurate medical documentation in patients' electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Ensure a professional clean work environment, including prepping the treatment room between patients
- Clean and perform minor maintenance on the laser to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with Regional Clinical Specialists/Practitioners and Medical Management Specialists as needed regarding patient treatment plans
- Active, unencumbered LPN license
- Ability to work 38-40 hours per week, including rotating Saturdays and evenings
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Ability to stand for up to 9 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to visually assess clients' skin and operate the laser
- Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance within 30 days
