Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Efficiently assemble and test products to meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
  • Engage in lock wiring, initial subassembly, and final detailing tasks on routine projects with limited decision-making.
  • Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and minimizing costs.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and written instructions.
  • Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations relevant to the manufacturing process.
  • Experience with computer systems.
  • A minimum of two years of manufacturing experience, specifically in assembly roles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in electronics technology is advantageous.
  • Experience with soldering techniques.

Additional Duties:

The role includes:

  • Utilizing mechanical skills and tools, including hand and power tools, to perform assembly and testing functions.
  • Documenting test results using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
  • Interpreting engineering documents, assembly routes, and quality directives.
  • Producing and inspecting assemblies to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Performing surface finishing tasks, including painting and cleaning parts.

Work Environment:

Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring equipment is calibrated according to the established schedule.
