Job Summary:

We are currently looking for skilled Professional Engineers (PE) with experience in Municipal Project Management, as well as Junior to Mid-level Municipal Engineers.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main contact between Municipalities and Boswell Engineering
  • Attend Municipal Governing Body meetings when necessary
  • Review Municipal Development Applications based on Municipal Codes
  • Prepare reports for Municipal Land Use Boards and attend related meetings
  • Collaborate with clients and internal departments
  • Understand and apply stormwater management and soil erosion control standards
  • Analyze engineering sketches and specifications
  • Coordinate technical developments and resolve design/construction issues
  • Review project drawings and participate in client meetings
  • Prepare status reports for ongoing projects
  • Assist in project proposals, budgeting, and day-to-day project paperwork
  • Complete assignments within set timelines and budgets
  • Contribute to marketing efforts for client retention and acquisition
  • Ensure timely project billing and assist in invoice collection
  • Occasional travel to municipalities and project sites
  • Adhere to company standards and procedures
  • Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey
  • Preferred: Certified Municipal Engineer in the State of New Jersey
