We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit team at Vincent's Birmingham - Downtown. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate patient care with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs.
- Provide education to patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Alabama.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
- Experience in a surgical intensive care unit or similar setting.
