Industry: Chemical Production / Energy Sector
Location: Houston, TX (Energy Corridor)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Employment Type: W2 renewable Contract
Contract Duration: 1 year with potential for extension based on performance and skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Gas Treatment Technology Managers in negotiating and finalizing global technology agreements
- Develop commercial and technical proposals utilizing OASE design tools (Chemical plant simulation software)
- Provide technical/process design assistance, including process simulations and balance analysis
- Engage in HAZOP reviews at client locations and evaluate work conducted by external contractors
- Support clients during project commissioning and deliver onsite technical assistance during start-up
- Guide customers in plant optimization, technical support, and general troubleshooting
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; advanced education or experience in business (M.B.A., Marketing, Sales, etc.) is advantageous
- 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
- Familiarity with chemical process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen, Promax, Protreat)
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in troubleshooting plant issues and enhancing plant performance
- Proficient in communicating with technical clients
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation, influencing, presentation, reporting, and relationship-building skills for both internal and external interactions.
