Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Petco. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients and delivering outstanding customer service to our clients.

• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures
• Perform laboratory tests, take vital signs, and record patient information
• Prepare patients for surgery, administer medications, and monitor patient recovery
• Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with clients, and educate them on pet care and health
• Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations

• College or college-equivalent education as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the state where the hospital is located
• At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Compassionate and sympathetic attitude, with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in emotional and stressful situations
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
