Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in psychiatric nursing.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in Connecticut.
  • Valid CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong experience in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
