Job Description

Market Street Recycling, LLC. is seeking a skilled Scrap Material Handler to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and process scrap materials in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify and separate different grades of materials, including aluminum, brass, copper, and insulated copper wire.
  • Operate heavy machinery, such as skid steers, to move materials around the facility.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring regular lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve daily production goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a scrap yard or recycling environment.
  • Knowledge of different materials and their grades.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Bobcat operator experience is a plus.
