We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient for therapeutic response and notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response.
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate, or Certificate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
