Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at 1A Auto Inc. This role involves multi-site facility planning, operations, and maintenance of a large Distribution Center and Business Center.

You will be responsible for ensuring facilities are in good repair, following all applicable safety and fire regulations, and meeting federal, state, and local building codes. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance, solving complex problems with warehouse equipment such as conveyors, racking, strapping machines, and forklifts.
• Providing technical expertise for equipment maintenance improvement projects.
• Handling emergencies on an as-needed basis.
• Managing outsourced services, tracking repairs, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Participating in safety meetings, offering input, and monitoring compliance with safety regulations.
• Overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair of facilities, buildings, equipment, grounds, and office space.
• Assisting in developing short- and long-term facility utilization plans.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• 5-10 years of experience in facilities, construction, or corporate real estate management.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel.
• Knowledge of Local and State Codes and Ordinances as well as safety regulations.
• A thorough understanding of building construction and associated trades.
• Experience with operations management of multiple facilities, structures, and buildings.
• The ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and write routine reports.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, and a dynamic work environment.
