Join Reach Out and Read as a Northeast Program Specialist and play a critical role in shaping the future direction of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with medical providers, staff, and families to promote literacy and early childhood development in the Northeast region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical and administrative staff to cultivate Reach Out and Read champions and advocates.
- Provide technical assistance and support to programs to assess site adherence to the ROR program model and identify additional site needs.
- Conduct site visits to assigned programs to assess quality and provide guidance on program improvement.
- Support programs in implementing quality improvement processes and monitoring progress.
- Collaborate with the Regional Executive Director and Programs Team to discuss best practices and strategize effective implementation.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt flexibly within a growing organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills to interact effectively with medical staff, providers, and colleagues.
- Self-motivated, independent worker who functions effectively in a virtual work environment.
- Education and/or experience in healthcare, early childhood systems, literacy, or related fields.
- Ability to effectively use electronic communications systems and database management.
- Competitive hourly rate of $23-$26/hour.
- Prorated vacation, personal, and sick leave based on hours worked.
