Job Title: FSO Officer

Quantic TRM is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team. As an FSO, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal security regulations and internal security policies, protecting sensitive information, and maintaining the overall security posture of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Management: Oversee all compliance with export control, document control, and FSO activities.
  • Clearance Management: Manage and process security clearances and personnel security investigations, including maintaining up-to-date records and handling security clearance applications and renewals.
  • Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response procedures for security breaches, including reporting, investigation, and documentation.
  • Training and Awareness: Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to ensure understanding of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed security documentation, including security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local security regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain a secret to start and can upgrade to Top Secret security clearance.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility security management, and information security with a strong background in managing security clearances and compliance with federal security regulations.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of security regulations, including NISPOM, NIST SP 800-53, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
  • This position may require occasional travel and the ability to work outside regular business hours as needed.
  • The FSO will be required to work on-site at the facility and interact with various departments and external agencies.
