About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Avista. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and producing accurate diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring safety for patients and staff.
  • Practice radiation safety protocols, minimizing exposure to patients and staff.
  • Produce high-quality images in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare patients for exams, providing clear instructions and addressing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during exams, positioning them correctly and observing their condition.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our medical imaging department.
Requirements
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology – R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
  • One year of post-certification experience, preferably in a radiology setting.
