Insulation Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an Insulation Specialist to join our team at Brown & Root Industrial Services. As an Insulator, you will be responsible for applying, removing, and repairing insulation on equipment, pipes, ductwork, and other mechanical systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Apply, remove, and repair insulation on equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems such as heat exchangers, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks, and vessels;
• Determine the amounts and selects required insulation material;
• Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces or access holes with plastic covers, canvas strips, sealants, tape, cement, or asphalt mastic;
• Install sheet metal around insulated pipes with screws in order to protect the insulation from weather conditions or physical damage;

**Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field;
• 2+ years of experience in insulation application, removal, and repair;
• Knowledge of insulation materials and their applications;
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces;
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols;
