Role Summary


As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with magnetic resonance imaging procedures. We are looking for a dedicated professional who values patient care and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for each patient, including exam records and scheduling.
  • Transport patients to and from their designated areas.
  • Monitor imaging equipment for safety and functionality.
  • Communicate procedures to patients to alleviate concerns and gain cooperation.
  • Position patients accurately for optimal imaging results.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Diagnostic Imaging Department team.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Technologist program is required.
  • Current licensure or permit in the State of Texas is mandatory.
  • MRI registry must be obtained within six months for eligible candidates.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a hospital imaging department is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification is necessary.

This position requires full vaccination for COVID-19 as per local, state, or federal regulations unless an exemption is approved.
