We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with medical providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition and identify changes in status, reporting to medical providers as needed.
- Perform procedures and administer medications as ordered by medical providers.
- Document patient care in a timely and thorough manner.
- Monitor patient response to medications and treatments.
- Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program preferred.
- Registered Nurse License issued by the Department of Health Professions, Commonwealth of Virginia, or multi-state privilege granted by virtue of holding a license in one of the states participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact Agreement.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 1 year of employment start date.
