Event Server

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a skilled Event Server to join our dynamic team. As an Event Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and contributing to a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the team to set up and break down event venues, including moving and arranging tables and chairs, setting up water and beverage stations, and preparing silverware settings.
• Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and engaging with guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
• Follow and enforce Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and State of North Carolina laws regarding alcoholic beverages.
• Responsible for learning and maintaining knowledge of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. history and products, as well as beer styles and their characteristics.
• Serve customers with proper serving etiquette, including taking food and beverage orders, delivering food to tables, bussing tables, and handling cash and credit transactions.

Requirements:

• 1 year prior experience as a banquet or dining room server preferred.
• 1 year prior experience in a front-of-house position within a full-service restaurant required.
• Ability to work well with a large group of people in a team environment.
• Must have good cash accounting skills and previous cash handling experience.
• A passion and desire to learn about craft beer.
• A strong work ethic.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Excellent work ethic with attention to detail.

What We Offer:

• $7.25 hourly compensation plus tip share.

Per Diem Basis: This position is on a Per Diem basis, so hours are not guaranteed. You will be scheduled to work events according to the company's needs, which may include evenings and weekends.
