Job Overview

We're seeking an Enterprise Virtualization Specialist to join our team at RED SKY Consulting. This role involves designing and implementing virtualization solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

You'll need to have a strong understanding of virtualization systems on hyper-converged infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure Stack HCI and VMware with vSAN. Additionally, you'll be expected to develop strategies for locally hosted cloud storage solutions and virtual environments, ensuring seamless scalability, performance, and security.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in automation and scripting languages like PowerShell, REST, and Python. Experience with Microsoft Azure public and private cloud infrastructure is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement virtualization solutions for our clients
  • Develop strategies for locally hosted cloud storage solutions and virtual environments
  • Monitor and optimize storage performance, capacity planning, resource utilization, and licensing planning
