Job Summary:
Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology, adhering to all protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with A.L.A.R.A. programs and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT).
- BLS Certified.
Additional Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
