Role Summary:
The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services in alignment with established protocols and standards. This role reports directly to the Supervisor and Director of Outpatient Imaging.
Job Classification:
FLSA: Non-exempt
Essential Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred. Completion of a Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Licensure:
Must hold AZ MRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist and as a Certified Computed Tomography Technologist. The original certification must be presented at the facility prior to commencing employment. Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R) and (CT) is required.
Skills Required:
Critical thinking and decisive judgment are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
Experience:
Prior experience in a hospital setting specifically in CT is preferred.
