We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Phoenix Children's. As a key member of our pediatric physical therapy department, you will provide essential support to our Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Conduct treatment sessions using various modalities, including exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, and mobilization, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in patient assessments, progress monitoring, and goal setting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Associate Degree from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Current Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy certification.
- Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card.
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
- Specialty training in pediatric ortho, neuro, NDT, taping, child development, or other relevant pediatric areas.
