Job Summary

The Scheduling Coordinator provides patient appointment scheduling and customer service functions, including scheduling appointments, patient reception, appointment check-in, and insurance verification for patients in the Radiology Department.

Work Schedule

This is a per diem position working overnights, with hours varying from 11:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m., seven days a week, filling in for PTO and sick calls. There are opportunities to pick up other shifts as well.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in direct customer/patient service, or one year of experience internally within the Regions Radiology Department

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of post-secondary education in healthcare or business administration
  • Healthcare scheduling experience
  • Epic electronic medical record system experience
