Position Overview

Our client, a community health center in Medford, Oregon, is in search of a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit, demonstrate evidence-based practices, and ensure equitable healthcare access for diverse populations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon
  • Master's degree in Nursing and completion of a Family Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current DEA certification
  • CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose a range of medical conditions in a community health setting
  • Conduct therapeutic procedures, emphasizing preventive care and follow-up
  • Facilitate referrals, consultations, and additional therapeutic services
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions in accordance with organizational policies and JCAHO standards
  • Oversee the preparation of reports and documentation, including medical records, as mandated by the clinic and regulatory agencies
  • Supervise nursing staff and assist in training new team members
