Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Granville Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our 6-bed ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Perform various medical procedures, including inserting IV lines and administering blood transfusions.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of NC.
  • 2 years of experience in ICU nursing, preferably in a pediatric or adult ICU setting.
  • ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Travel experience in ICU nursing.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs), preferably MEDITECH.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
