About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Gemaire. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading distributor of HVAC equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the inventory management and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. Your ultimate goal will be to procure, process, dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships.

  • Represent Gemaire as a leader in the industry.
  • Daily loading and unloading of products.
  • Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
  • Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
  • Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
  • Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
  • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
  • Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
  • Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
  • Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
  • Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
  • Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties.
  • Wear appropriate PPE.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16' minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
  • Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • CDL Class B license preferred (except when required in certain states)
  • 6 months of Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
