Job Overview

We are a leading provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals.

About the Role

The Senior Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing and supporting process control-related systems for refined products and petrochemical pipeline areas.

Responsibilities include engineering and technical support for process control systems and instrumentation, providing guidance and support for process control project scope and estimates, and providing guidance and support for process control systems to Local Operations.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A B.S. degree in engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in implementing process control and related systems in storage and pipeline (crude, natural gas liquid, and gas).
  • Working knowledge of industry standards for documentation, loop tuning, safety systems, and PLC configuration.
  • Configuration experience in various HMI and PLC platforms.
  • Experience with development of applications in Wonderware Intouch HMI and Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and climb a ladder.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with all levels within the organization (operations and contractors), both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and be on call 24/7 as needed.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
