About the Position:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will hold a critical role in assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will lie in evaluating and assessing patients' functional status, strengths, and limitations across various settings, including physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional status, strengths, and limitations.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, therapeutic goals, and patient preferences.
  • Patient Education and Training: Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the therapeutic process, adaptive strategies, and techniques to facilitate functional improvements.
  • Collaboration and Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care plans that address the multifaceted needs of patients.
  • Progress Monitoring and Outcome Measurement: Continuously monitor patient progress, reassessing goals, and modifying treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Master's/Doctorate Degree: in an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current License/Certification: in the state of practice
