We are in search of skilled Telemetry RNs for an immediate travel nursing opportunity. The ideal candidate should possess 1-2 years of recent experience in acute care settings. Below are additional responsibilities and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:As a Telemetry Travel Nurse, your primary duties will include:
- Delivering fundamental bedside care to patients.
- Monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment utilized for patient care, while accurately interpreting and documenting electronic displays.
- Recognizing irregular telemetry readings and promptly notifying the appropriate medical personnel.
- Taking corrective actions whenever monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptoms.
Telemetry RNs should be physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending and stooping as necessary. Candidates must be able to lift 20 pounds easily, with the potential to lift up to 50 pounds when moving or assisting patients. Vision capabilities should include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Additional Information: Specific certifications may be required prior to the commencement of an assignment.
