Job Summary

As a Bakery Clerk at Stop & Shop, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be the face of our bakery department, delighting customers with our freshly baked goods and treats. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in maintaining a clean and organized bakery area, while also assisting customers with their purchases and answering any questions they may have.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
* Maintain a clean and organized bakery area, including the display cases and shelves
* Assist customers with their purchases and answer any questions they may have
* Prepare and decorate baked goods and treats for display and sale
* Restock shelves and display cases as needed

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous customer service experience preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
