We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional geriatric care to our residents.
Job SummaryThe LPN will work under the direction of a registered nurse to promote the health, wellness, and illness prevention of our residents through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. Responsibilities include administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures, documenting clinical data, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and ensure the care and safety of all residents in the nursing unit.
- Adhere to individual care plans and administer medications, treatments, and other nursing services as required.
- Maintain accurate records of resident conditions and collaborate with the nursing team and medical provider as needed.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and report resident conditions at shift change.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff members and maintain competency in all tasks needed by CMS.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- New York State Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to follow instructions.
- BASIC computer knowledge and PCC e-MAR experience preferred.
- Physical endurance for frequent activity and ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
This full-time position offers an estimated annual salary of $70,720 based on a 40-hour workweek. Additionally, benefits include:
