We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at St. Luke's University Health Network. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide medical evaluation, treatment, counseling, and referrals to patients under the supervision of, and/or in collaboration with, the attending physician.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic remediation, surgical assistance, and pharmaceutical prescription.
- Participate in patient satisfaction, quality, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Complete admissions for patients being admitted to the Detox Unit or Med-Surg unit under the care of our Toxicology or Hospitalist services.
- Complete transfers for patients needing escalation of care secondary to lack of services or critical care level of care.
- Re-evaluate patients on withdrawal protocols.
- Preparing discharges in anticipation for next day discharge.
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
- Physician Assistants must also have a current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
