Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Parts Sales: Sell parts to customers, both in-store and over the phone, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, notify management of out-of-stock parts, and locate out-of-stock parts from external sources.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull and fill orders from stock, ensuring all parts are tagged with customer names and job numbers.
  • Communication: Notify customers, service advisors, and body shops of special ordered parts arrival and delivery.
  • Administrative Tasks: Verify will-call and back-order files weekly, return items to vendors, and replenish assigned inventory daily.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist outside sales representatives with orders, ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders, and receive payment from retail customers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; classes for certification and growth in job will be required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or push 60 lbs on occasion.
  • Work Environment: Office setting with moderate noise level.
