Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Arborist Crew Leader to join our team at Bartlett Tree Experts. As a key member of our tree care crew, you will be responsible for leading a team of arborists in performing tree care services safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely perform and supervise all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
  • Properly maintain and operate equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
  • Bring a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site.
  • Supervise and manage crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
  • Ensure that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment.
  • Ensure that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
  • Communicate with clients and build relationships.
Requirements
  • A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry.
  • Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (Class B CDL preferred).
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
  • Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
