Position Overview
CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dedicated full-time Pediatric Psychologist to enhance the Division of Pediatric Psychology. This role includes an appointment as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.
The position is primarily clinical, with opportunities for involvement in research, education, and administrative tasks through collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine and CHRISTUS Health. Faculty members are also engaged in presenting Grand Rounds and mentoring residents in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and psychology interns during their clinical training in behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities- Conducting diagnostic psychological assessments, individual therapy, and family counseling for children and adolescents in the Pediatric Psychology clinic.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across pediatric specialties.
- Contributing to the development of new clinics and programs.
- Doctoral Degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or School Psychology from APA-accredited programs.
- Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship.
- Postdoctoral fellowship in child or pediatric psychology or equivalent experience.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas.
- Preferred training and/or experience with parent interventions and children with behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, or a willingness to receive training in these areas.
