Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in an ICU setting.

About the Role

This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours of work per week. The shift schedule includes 12-hour nights. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and monitoring patients in an ICU setting
  • Providing direct care to patients with life-threatening conditions
  • Documenting and reporting patient information to physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Developing and implementing patient care plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
